Dr. Carolyn Parsons provides psychotherapy and assessment services at her private practice in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. She has been licensed since 1994, initially at the Master's level and in 2010 completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University.

Dr. Parsons has worked in a variety of settings, including employee assistance (EAP), chemical dependency treatment, day treatment for individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness, treatment program for developmentally disabled sex offenders, Adult Rehabilitation Mental Health Services (ARMHS), and outpatient clinics.  While working on her doctorate she completed practicums at MCF Stillwater Prison and St. Peter Security Hospital. She has been in private practice since 2009 and works with a broad spectrum of clients.  She has particular interest in psychological testing and working with clients who have experienced all forms of trauma.  She has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and uses DBT individually with clients. She also has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and worked in the corporate world prior to returning to school for her training in psychology.
